Baby Care Tracker MVP

[WORK IN PROGRESS] People installed the MomCare app. They just never came back and the reason wasn't a bad product. Situation: MomCare app is an all in one baby care tracker MVP for new parents. The app is getting strong app-store conversions but flat daily engagement. Feeding trackers only work if used 8-12 times a day and the client needed to know if the product had failed, or if something else was blocking habit formation. Task: Diagnose the engagement gap from analytics before committing to a full research phase, so the right flows get tested not the wrong ones. Action: Analysed four Firebase engagement metrics against the app's expected daily-use pattern, isolating install conversion, uninstall rate, stickiness ratio, and active-user trends to separate "product rejection" from "habit-loop failure." Result (so far): -14.4% install-to-open conversion which means acquisition isn't the problem. -Near-zero uninstall rate which means no active dissatisfaction. -8.5% DAU/MAU which means the users are forgetting the app exists, not rejecting it.
